I had the privilege of launching Mastercard True Name in Canada. For many LGBTQIA+ people, the name on their bank cards does not reflect their true identity, which can be a source of humiliation, discrimination, or even danger. It was powerful hearing everyone share their stories of bravery and perseverance - their strength is truly inspiring.
